This Year’s Mission
We are planning our summer 2026 medical humanitarian mission in Ecuador. Mission dates will be June 23 to July 2 with treatment days at the hospital being June 24 to June 30. July 1 will be a fun group day trip with flights home departing around midnight July 1 or early July 2.
We will confirm our hospital location following our mission setup trip in February, which will also include visits to hospitals in impoverished areas of Panama, which we are considering for our summer 2027 mission.
Our Mission Statement
Med Access International organizes medical humanitarian missions that provide some of the world's most underserved people with everything from general medical and dental care to life-changing surgeries, prosthetics and other specialized services that reflect the expertise of our volunteers.
What We Do
Our volunteers are changing the lives of impoverished people around the world, but our medical humanitarian outreach efforts do much more than make a difference in the lives of the poor.
We find that helping others changes the lives of our volunteers, too, whether it’s re-igniting their interest in medicine or opening their minds and hearts to better appreciate everything we have in life and the positive feelings that come from helping those in need.

We operate solely on a volunteer basis, and our dedicated team members personally cover their own travel expenses. This ensures that every cent of your generous donation is directly allocated towards the purchase of essential medicines and supplies required for each mission.

missions dedicated to help others
Our medical missions are generally 10 days in length, allowing volunteers of all ages and fields to come together for a great cause.
MORE THAN A DOZEN MEDICAL SPECIALITIES
Although the composition of our medical missions can differ each time, we usually assemble a diverse team of healthcare professionals. This typically encompasses pharmacists, pediatricians, general internal medicine doctors, OBGYNs, dentists, eye doctors, prosthetists, neurologists, urologists, general surgeons, cardiologists, orthopedic surgeons, plastic and maxillofacial surgeons, anesthesiologists, scrub techs, nurses, and interpreters.
